Wageningen University and Research (WUR) will be hosting the international conference “Towards zero hunger, creating parternships for impact” for its 100th anniversary. During this conference, a special e-conference is organized to get students and young professionals engaged with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2: Zero Hunger. As a specific feature, this event does not only take place in Wageningen, but is also hosted online and is therefore accessible to youth from all over the world! The core part of the e-conference is the Foodathon, a 36-hours event in which students and young professionals create local solutions for global challenges related to the theme “Food Systems”. Through it, participants exchange knowledge, share experiences and work interactively with SDG2.
The aim of the e-conference is to bridge the gap between knowledge and practice on the SDGs, and more specifically on SDG2. To make the e-conference a success, students and young professionals from all around the world are invited to participate in this event which will be related to food systems.
