Projects and Stories

Since its establishment, the SDSN Youth Ghana network has been active in advancing youth-led initiatives for sustainable development through a hands-on approach. Find out more about some of their initiatives below.

The network works closely with local communities, first raising awareness about environmental issues through education, and then offering practical, hands-on opportunities to engage with and actively advance the SDGs. At one of their initiatives, the network brought together 200 participants for an online capacity-building session and a beach clean-up in Winneba.

The network celebrates sign languages around the world, reminding us that sustainable development is only possible by leaving no one behind. Recognizing sign languages empowers deaf people to participate fully and contribute to society, advancing Quality Education (SDG 4), Decent Work & Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10).
