Projects and Stories

Since its establishment, SDSN Youth Nigeria has been active in advancing youth-led initiatives for sustainable development by focusing on the skills and abilities young people need for the future. Find out more about some of their initiatives below.





The program recognizes the importance of engaging young people in the implementation of the SDGs, and aims to build a community of exceptional young leaders who will champion and promote the SDGs across the nation.




The Climate Actors Accelerator Programme (CAAP) is a unique opportunity for young innovators and changemakers to join the fight against the global climate crisis. The goal of this programme is to develop a network of young climate champions that would pioneer transformative solutions to protect our planet and restore the ecosystem.



The Conference of Youth on Environment and Climate (COYEC) is a 3-day hybrid event aimed at bringing together young leaders and climate actors from different regions of Africa to provide hands-on training and opportunity for participants to learn from experts on a range of environmental issues, including climate change, biodiversity loss, renewable energy and sustainable development discuss issues surrounding the environment and climate.
