Part of the network´s scope of work is promoting sustainability culture and developing innovative narratives to communicate sustainable development, reinforcing the engagement and social impact of communication strategies. In this regard, working with young people is crucial; giving them the tools and academic knowledge about sustainable development, communicating strategies and how to fight desinformation empowers their voices and messages, promoting youth leadership around sustainability.

Jóvenes 2030: Creando el Futuro initiative places youth at the center of this agenda by empowering young people to deepen their understanding of the SDGs and Spain’s Sustainable Development Strategy, design and lead awareness campaigns, and shape public narratives on sustainability, thereby cultivating innovative, youth-driven approaches to social and environmental change. Through training, communication strategies, and collaborative campaigns developed by selected young ambassadors, the project seeks to enhance youth participation not only as recipients but as agents of social mobilization toward achieving sustainable development.
