The Network plans to host a 3-day online event on the environment and sustainable living in collaboration with youth organizations. The goal of the event is to demystify how environmental issues are incorporated into the SDGs. In addition, the network will discuss different climate-related topics and explore the role of young people in the promotion of climate action and the achievement of the related SDGs. The participants will have the opportunity to connect with young people to discuss and share ideas, highlight the role and work of youth organizations.
The project is a 2-month SDG awareness social media campaign to raise awareness on the SDGs, promoting sustainable development in Greece and highlighting the correlation between the SDGs and everyday life. The campaign successfully reached over 3800 young people.
The Network partnered with ASECU Youth, YES-Europe Greece, BEST Thessaloniki, Ecotivity School, IEEE Student Branch University of Patras, Physicists Aristotle Thessaloniki, United Nations Society to promote the networks event ‘Our Future through the Sustainable Development Goals
The network plans to launch an awareness campaign on social media to promote the SDSN Youth Membership Program and attract potential member organizations.
The Network published an Informative article on the website and a series of social media posts on Instagram and Twitter to raise awareness on the topic of subjective well-being and its correlation to sustainability, education, and the environment. The activity also aimed at promoting the World Happiness Report 2021.
The Network hosted an online event and panel discussion to bring together international professors and experts and young people to discuss how the SDGs contribute to the world and how they can be achieved through the various scientific fields. The event reached over 25,000 people.
