This quarter, the network plans to host its annual SDG Youth Living Lab in partnership with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and KOICA. The lab is a community SDGs project contest operated through hackathons.
SDSN Youth Korea hosted a design thinking workshop for young people in South Korea. The workshop aims to equip young people with design thinking skills to enable them to problem solve and discover SDG-related projects.
Every month, the network conducts a policy case study to research the progress of the achievement of the SDGs in Korea. The network then reviews policies at a domestic and international level that promote the achievement of the SDGs.
As the SDGs are unacknowledged by the public, we believed it was critical to incorporate the opinions of young people with little or no knowledge of the SDGs.
54 youth representatives from our 54 youth member organizations participated in the forum, and the content of the discussion was prepared as a 33-page report - delivered to the mayor of Seoul.
