The network successfully translated the “Application form” and the “Membership Guide 2021” from English to Russian. This will facilitate the understanding of the membership program by youth-led organizations.
The network hosted a webinar discussing the importance of waste recycling in Russia and eco habits. The goal of the webinar was to embrace sustainable living. The event reached a new audience with an increase in the number of people interested in SDG12.
SDSN Youth Russia conducted a media campaign to raise awareness about SDSN Youth and its activities in Russia. The campaign was conducted on Instagram and Twitter as well as VK and TG (both Russian apps). The campaign reached over 500 people and increased 300 followers.
One of the newest initiatives is the Student Hubs’ actions support, which cooperates with SDG Student Hubs from different universities and supports them with resources from SDSN Youth Russia. One of the examples is MGIMO Goes Green student hub support in their initiative to translate SDSN Australia’s guide “Getting started with the SDGs in Universities.”
