SDSN Youth South Asia plans to host a series of workshops in partnership with UNDP India. The workshops will be a joint regional collaboration with Youth Co:Lab/Movers. The goal of the workshops will be to ensure that organizations are working more closely on the youth agenda moving forward. Through this, the expected outcome is more youth are empowered to come up with ideas and implement projects

SDSN Youth South Asia hosted a thematic track ‘Youth Unite for a Safe and Secure Environment for All at the World Sustainable Development Summit. The goal of the event was to energize positive youth involvement for the overall improvement of our environment, keeping in mind particularly, Climate Change. As a result, the Youth Network was able to sensitize all the stakeholders on the importance of youth in the future of climate action. The Thematic track had 390 attendees.

Partnered with the Government of Karnataka, India and UNDP India to jointly establish the Sustainable Development Goals Coordination Centre (SDGCC) Youth engagement campaign Partnered with the Indian Pollution Control Association to launch the Project RELISH for communities working on SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

The Youth Network hosted an event on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Approaches for Youth Empowerment at the 2nd International Conference and POP Festival for Youth-led Climate action. The goal of the event was to discuss how youth can meaningfully contribute to SDGs. The successful event resulted in the convening of like-minded organizations on a platform to explain the myriad forms of education adopted for enriching young minds and transforming individuals to be responsible actors who can resolve challenges, respect cultural diversity and contribute to creating a more just society. The event had more than 150 attendees

In partnership with UNDP India, the Network hosted the World we want Mover’s workshop. The key objective of the workshop was to educate the attendees on the priorities of youth in Asia- Pacific on SDGs.

The Network plans to launch an Online Exam for young people to take part in. The exam will evaluate the knowledge quotient about the environment amongst undergraduate and post-graduate students and orient this precious workforce towards sustainability. This project will serve as an advocacy tool through which youth-based environment priorities linked with SDGs can be streamlined
