SDSN Youth Greece is hosted by ICRE8: International Center for Research on the Environment and the Economy and Political Economy of Sustainable Development Lab of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Christos Mavroeidis (LLB, MSc) has been the Network Coordinator of SDSN Youth Greece since March 2021. Under his professional capacity as a lawyer in Greece, he focuses on environmental and energy law, promoting the SDGs Agenda in the industry. Christos has been actively engaged with sustainability and youth representation since 2019, as member of SDSN Youth and has participated in various international fora and events, such as LCOY Greece 2021 and 2022, UN Regional Conference on Sustainable Development for the UNECE Region, Climate Change Summit 2022 etc. He is a two times winner of Climathon Award and has co-organized and curated a wide series of sustainability related events and projects, alongside with other youth partner organizations. He is a firm supporter of the Theory of Change and believes that youth can play a crucial role in shaping the policies that will eventually shape a sustainable future.
Yiannis Stamatonikolos is the Curator of the GenAI Summit at 100mentors. Additionally, he has been appointed as a Member of the Youth Advisory Group for the Evaluation of Global Gender Action Plan and Policy. This role is complemented by his recognition as an EU Climate Pact Ambassador of the European Commission and his participation in the Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. Holding the position of Deputy Network Coordinator in United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network Youth Greece, he aims to play a crucial role in mobilizing youth internationally to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, as the Campus Director of the Hult Prize Foundation, he activates young people to address global social issues through entrepreneurship.
