SDSN Youth Korea is hosted by the OJEong Resilience Institute in Korea University. The network focuses on solidifying youth organizations related to SDGs, Post 2020, and GCED and increasing the impact of their activities through connecting with IGOs, NGO, and CSR-CSVs.
Dong-ryul KANG is the Network Coordinator of SDSN Youth Korea. Since 2018, he has been fostering 81 youth organizations in 42 universities nationwide in the field of SDGs, nurturing over 5,000 youth innovators annually. He contributed to the enactment of the Sustainable Development Basic Law by the National Assembly of Korea in 2022 and is actively promoting the implementation of SDGs in local communities. He has received several awards including the Korea Sustainable Development Award in 2022, the Korea Fair Trade Award in 2020, the Korea Social Contribution Award in 2016, and the Korea Talent Award in 2015.
Jin-won KIM is the network coordinator at SDSN Youth Korea, which educates, connects and supports youth groups to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Since 2023, she has been supporting 83 youth organisations in 37 universities and 39 campuses. She is also involved in the Local Community SDG Solutions project, which showcases 44 cases of high-impact initiatives, and manages the SDGuys YouTube channel, which has 375 subscribers. She has won several awards, including the Excellence Prize at the 2023 Sookmyung ESG Competition and the fourth prize at the Seoul International Forum on Climate and Environment for her short film.
