Ms Monmi Barua is currently leading the SDSN Youth- South Asia as the Network Coordinator and also working as an Associate Fellow at the Environment Education and Awareness Area of TERI, New Delhi. A thorough professional, she has been working on projects and campaigns for youth on issues related to Sustainable Development Goals. With more than 7 years of work experience, she has also led projects on environmental awareness including interactive sessions, seminars, conferences, youth meets, sensitization and capacity building workshops related to sustainability. These programmes focus on spreading knowledge, promote networking of the likeminded individuals and bring about attitudinal changes for sustainable development. She holds a master’s degree from University of Delhi, India and a diploma in Environmental Law and Management.
