
Antonio is a passionate young advocate for climate action and transformative change. He is an active member of numerous international youth organizations and groups including SDSN Youth, as the Global Events & Partnerships Lead; Youth UNESCO Climate Action Network (YoU-CAN), as member of the Steering Committee; Global Shapers Aguascalientes HUB, as Impact Officer; and the Climate Reality Project. He was selected as the lead negotiator for Mexico at COP 27 & SB58 for Article 6 and served as an advisor to the Mexican delegation at COP 28 & SB60 on the same domain, advocating for ambitious climate policies. He has also represented Mexico in further international spaces including the 2023 ECOSOC Youth Forum and the 13th UNESCO Youth Forum. He is currently a climate policy, finance and carbon markets consultant, aiming to lead meaningful change by building a greener and more resilient future for all.
Valentina Ughetto serves as the Communications Lead at SDSN Youth. She holds a Master's Degree in Media and Business with a focus on CSR and sustainability. With a background in marketing and communications in the non-profit sector, Valentina has worked on different projects concerning climate change actions as well as the contribution to the SDGs from a business perspective. She is deeply motivated by a passion for driving positive environmental and social change.
The Vatican Youth Symposium, organized by the SDSN Youth and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences (PASS), is an annual gathering of young leaders and experts from around the world, discussing and generating solutions for the most urgent issues of humanity.
