Since its establishment, the SDSN Youth Indonesia network has been actively advancing youth-led initiatives for sustainable development through a community mobilization approach focused on education. Find out more about some of their initiatives below.

The Indonesia network organized multiple educational events at local orphanages, fostering awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals among young people through interactive learning activities.

Organized in collaboration with 180Degree Consulting UI, in Jakarta and Depok, the event featured +150 participants and several activities, including a national startup competition focused on the implementation of ESG and SDG principles in Indonesia. The key SDGs highlighted were SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

In Jakarta, 120+ youth leaders and stakeholders gathered for a UNDP-SDSN Youth Indonesia event to shape strategies for sustainable business practices, linking media, human rights, and economic growth.
