SDSN Youth Russia plans to analyze the submitted solutions of the 2021 Russia youth solutions report and to publish the report.
In partnership with the Russian Presidential Academy, the Network launched a guide that will increase awareness about the importance of the COVID 19 vaccine among young people in Russia. So far, the guide has reached more than 300 young people in Russia.
The network hosted a side event at the 2021 ECOSOC Youth Forum. The theme of the side event was “Unlocking the potential of the CIS Youth in the Decade of Action”. The network presented two topics: the challenges faced by youth-led NGOs working in promoting the SDGs in the CIS and the potential of youth NGOs in CIS countries for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
The network opened applications for the 2021 Russia Youth Solutions Report. The goal of the program is to analyze the current state youth-driven solution toward SDGs in Russia. The report will showcase more than 45 youth-led solutions driving SDGs implementation in Russia.
SDSN Youth Russia partnered with the SDGs Youth Forum (MGIMO) to jointly increase awareness about youth solutions on SDGs. The network also partnered with the National Youth Council of Russia to support the youth Network in the launch of the 2021 Russia Youth Solutions Report.
In a bid to engage more volunteers in the Youth Networks work, SDSN Youth Russia plans to launch 3 months volunteering program for youth in Russia. The volunteers will play a key role in the launch of the 2021 Russia Youth Solutions Report.
